More Than Just a Farm — A Green Quest
We are a team backed by over thirty years of practical and research experience in the water sector — including irrigation and drainage, environmental studies, river engineering, and water and wastewater networks and treatment plants. With more than 60 successfully completed projects across Iran, we have a strong legacy of expertise.
Kohandezh Company was established in 1993, initiating its work in water infrastructure projects. After a decade of successful operations, we co-founded Sadrab Niroo Consulting Engineers in 2004, with the aim of expanding and deepening our research and consulting capabilities across various water-related fields.
Water circulation in nature is a closed system — it has no true beginning or end. According to the United Nations, due to population growth on one hand and climate and environmental changes on the other, water scarcity is expected to become one of the most critical global challenges in the coming years.
Iran is a vast, arid plateau with low and unevenly distributed rainfall. The country’s average annual precipitation is less than one-third of the global average, which does not align with the demands of the agricultural sector — the primary consumer of water.
Therefore, adapting to water scarcity is essential. One of the key solutions lies in the optimal use of water and soil resources and improving overall efficiency.
With this understanding, we at GreenQ have committed ourselves to being part of the solution.
By drawing on our extensive research experience and making the most of limited land and water, we aim to produce high-quality and high-yield agricultural products — efficiently, sustainably, and with purpose.
GreenQ was born from two ideas: Green Quality and Green Quest.
